How it works
Trench Radio is a live voice for pump.fun. It reads the chain, picks the moves worth saying out loud and says them, with subtitles timed word by word. Everything below is what the service actually does.
The dial
Open Air is always on and free. It calls migrations, dev sells, whale buys, new highs and buy rushes across pump.fun, plus every move of a few coins that are hot right now. Migrations, Whales and Dev Sells on the top row are the same air with only those calls let through.
Coin stations sit on the two lower rows. A coin gets its own station while someone holds a key to it (see below). Anyone can listen to a station that is on air: open its link /c/<CA> or tune to it on the dial.
A watchlist is one station for 2 to 5 coins: one voice calls them all.
Putting a coin on air
Hold the token
A wallet holding at least $50 of the token signs one message (no transaction, no fee) and opens one station for 6 h. Holding 5x the threshold opens two. The balance is re-checked every 5 minutes; below the threshold twice in a row, the station signs off.
Pass in SOL
0.02 SOL for an hour or 0.2 SOL for a day (a watchlist costs 2x). The site builds one SOL transfer to the treasury with a memo radio:<order>; the service reads that transaction from the chain and starts the station. Quotes last 10 minutes. No refunds; if the service is down, those minutes are added back to the pass.
At most 6 coin stations are on air at once; holder stations take at most 4 of them so passes always have room. When all are busy you get a place in the queue, passes first. A live station is never pushed off.
What the voice may say
- Every number comes from a decoded transaction: SOL amounts, market cap, curve progress, holders. Nothing is guessed.
- A migration is called only after the migration transaction is confirmed.
- Coin names are cleaned before they are spoken: hidden characters, slurs and look-alike names are replaced by "this coin".
- One voice at a time per station. The biggest call cuts in first; small calls that come too late are dropped, not read out of date.
- No sound until you switch the set on. Subtitles always run, word by word.
Trust points
- The service never holds or sends your funds. The site only asks your wallet to sign a message (hold) or one SOL transfer with a memo (pass).
- Payments are judged from the chain transaction the service reads itself: fee payer, one transfer of at least the quote to the treasury, the exact memo, nothing else.
- The service is trusted to keep a paid station on air for its time. Downtime is added back; nothing else is refunded.
- Listening needs no wallet at all.
- The token's creator fees are not touched by the radio.
For builders
One WebSocket per station: /api/ws?ch=general, c:<mint> or a watchlist id. Text frames are JSON (line with the subtitle text, words with word timings, play with the facts row, end, cut); binary frames carry one audio chunk each after a 12-byte header: line id, sequence, flags, codec, duration. Read endpoints: /api/config, /api/channels, /api/channel/c:<mint>.
